  • Onion, Finely Chopped 1
  • Garlic, Minced 4 Cloves
  • Ginger, Freshly Grated 2 Tbsp
  • Tomato Puree 29 oz
  • Greek Yogurt, Plain 1-1/2 Cups
  • Olive Oil 2 Tbsp
  • Garam Masala 2 Tbsp
  • Cumin 1 Tbsp
  • Paprika 1/2 Tbsp
  • Salt 2 tsp
  • Cinnamon 3/4 tsp
  • Black Pepper 3/4 tsp
  • Cayenne Pepper 1 tsp
  • Bay Leaves 2
  • Half & Half 1 Cup
  • Cornstarch 1/2 Tbsp
  • Rice
  • Cilantro, Chopped

  1. In the insert of your slow cooker mix together onion, garlic, ginger, tomato puree, yogurt, olive oil, Garam Masala, cumin, paprika, salt, cinnamon, pepper, and cayenne. Once well combined and smooth, add chicken, and toss to coat.
  2. Add bay leaves.
  3. Cover and cook for 6 hours on low (3 hours on high)
  4. Whisk together half and half with the cornstarch. During the last 20 minutes of cooking, stir in the half and half. Cover and continue to cook for 20 minutes.
  5. Serve over rice. Garnish with cilantro if desired.
